Visi-Barrier® Pre-Cast Polymer Concrete Panel
Transpo Visi-Barrier® is a highly visible traffic barrier with FHWA approval and decades of proven successful projects. Designed for both new and retrofit projects, Visi-Barrier acts as a stay-in-place formwork with simple bolt-thru connections, offering a year-round, all weather, lightweight, and sustainable solution for new and aging bridge parapets, median and ramp barriers.
Visi-Barrier’s gel coat seals porosity within its panel keeps dirt and contaminants off, making it more visible than other traditional concrete barriers.
Visi-Barrier is easy to install and available in standard Jersey shape, F shape and single slope cross sections as well as custom shapes. Each panel can be customized depending on the engineering plan and project design.

Added Reflectivity
Visi-Barrier offers a vertical Visi-Stripe add on available for each panel, Visi-Stripe is made with highly retro-reflective glass beads and addresses poor roadway delineation problems, especially on rainy nights when visibility is low and standard roadway markings lose retro-reflectivity when covered with water. The result is year-round, all weather, high visibility for driver safety.
Applications
Median Barriers – Visi-Barrier® can be used to form a full or half section median barrier and allow existing barrier heights to be easily increased without costly demolition.
Bridge Parapets and Rails – Visi-Barrier® can be custom designed for new construction or retrofitting of existing concrete barriers and bridge decks. Panels can be used to change the safety shape of existing barrier without the need for formwork.
