T-48 Chip Seal is a polysulfide epoxy based resin and broadcast aggregate system used for restoration and preservation of concrete bridge deck surfaces and other types of concrete pavements.
Transpo’s T-48 Chip Seal when applied as a single coat will result in a thickness of approximately 1/8 inch and will add less than 1/2 pounds of dead load per square foot of surface area which is an important consideration for maintenance of older structures.
The short curing time assures a minimum down time and a quick restoration of service. The broadcast aggregate provides a highly durable, skid resistant surface that can be used for vehicular and pedestrian applications.
